This latest Kauai painting is actually a reworking of a plein air piece done several years ago during a prior trip to the island. Not much was changed except that I removed a wall of vegetation that had blocked the view of the meadow as it reached back into the hills. This allowed me to develop the pathway through the grass that the mule was creating as he moseyed along with his egret companion.
